Voicelog

VoiceLog is the world’s #1 provider of third party verification services in the United States. Their operators receive live verification calls for telephone companies and other service industries looking to help combat evil sales fraud.

Hear that? You could be a superhero. VoiceLog is looking for English, Spanish or bi-lingual independent contractors to work flexible hours as live operators. Could this be the perfect opportunity for you? Find out more below!

Getting Started

First of all, you must be at least 18 old and live in the United States in order to be hired on as a VoiceLog live operator. Unfortunately, the company isn’t accepting applications from anyone living outside of the U.S at this time.

The best live operators are responsible, organized, patient and friendly individuals with great communication skills and a good attitude. Live operators also have the ability to control their tone of voice during all types of different situations. It is also important that live operators take their commitment very seriously by adhering to the schedule and doing an awesome job!

Think you have what it takes? Head on over to the VoiceLog website and take a few minutes to fill out the online application.

Previous call center or customer service experience isn’t necessary, but it’s definitely a bonus. Experience in these types of environments definitely prepares you for handling a variety of customer personalities and situations. So, if you have any previous work experience, be sure to make it shine on your application.

You’ll also need to specify your availability. VoiceLog operates Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 AM to midnight EST, as well as every other weekend. So, when do you think you can squeeze in some time? You have the freedom to choose to work shifts that are anywhere from 2 to 6 hours long!

Before you can begin your first shift, you’re going to need a home office. Jot down a personal computer, a reliable Internet connection, Microsoft Word and Excel, and a second phone line on the shopping list. You can view the complete list of technical requirements on the company’s website.

Once you’re all finished, submit your completed application to VoiceLog. The company receives an awful lot of applications, so don’t freak out if it takes a few weeks for them to get back to you. In the meantime, you can make plans for how to spend all your time off!

Earning Money

Once you’re accepted on as a live operator, you’ll need to attend a 3 to 4-day training session. This will ensure that you’re ready to handle anything that comes your way.

Keep in mind that live operators receive work based on the needs of VoiceLog customers. There may be times when work is unavailable and, because of this, you shouldn’t rely on VoiceLog as a regular source of income. So keep your day job and count on VoiceLog for some supplementary spending money instead of your mortgage payment.

As a VoiceLog’s newest live operator, you can expect consistent inbound calls throughout your scheduled shift from customers making a switch or a change with a telecommunications or other utility company.

No need to improvise, you’ll actually be following a script that’s provided by the client. Simply confirm all the required information and verify each customer’s service order. You won’t be responsible for selling anything, either. All calls are inbound and there are never any up-sells involved. Just follow the script, gather the correct information and verify the call. It’s that easy.

VoiceLog live operators earn a guaranteed minimum of $8.50 per hour. As a live operator, you also get to take advantage of the benefits of flexible work hours and working from home!

Getting Paid

VoiceLog pays all live operators on the 8th and 22nd of each month via direct deposit. To break it down, all work performed from the 1st to the 15th of each month will be paid on the 22nd of that month and all work performed from the 16th to the last day of the month will be paid on the 8th of the following month.

You will need a checking or savings account that’s in your name in order to receive your earnings via direct deposit. Currently, this is the only payment method VoiceLog uses.

Is VoiceLog right for me?

Being a live operator for VoiceLog allows you to work from your own home and around your schedule. Flexible enough for stay at home parents, professionals who want a little extra, college students with some spare time or anyone who enjoys working from home!
VoiceLog offers it all. This is the kind of freedom and flexibility you’ve been looking for! Apply to be a live operator today and find out what you’ve been missing!
