Vera-a-Fast Corporation has been in business since 1976 and specializes in consumer contact list verification for companies such as newspapers and phone directory publishers. Its workforce includes a large contingent of work-from-home customer service representatives who complete various outbound call verification and sales tasks on behalf of client companies.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old and not otherwise engaged in full-time employment. Ver-a-Fast requires a home office set-up with PC-based computer, wired Internet connection and printer, all as specified on the website. Applicants will be asked detailed questions about education, work experience, availability, workload and work-family balance issues. A minimum commitment of 15 hours per week is required.
Compensation is primarily based on completed call volume with no hourly base wage. At-home customer service representatives are independent contractors. Paper paychecks are mailed weekly to all at-home workers.
