LiveOps provides quality call center homesourcing services using state-of-the-art cloud computing technology. Their revolutionary call center platform has created one of the largest marketplaces for call center workers, connecting over 20,000 independent agents with companies all over the world.
With no constraints on where or when to work, independent agents can work out of their homes (goodbye morning traffic) and provide call center services to hundreds of well-known clients.
Applicants must be at least 18-years-old and live in the United States. If you satisfy these requirements, then getting started at LiveOps is a walk in the park! The first step is to create a LiveOps login. After your account is setup, you will be asked to fill out a simple online application.
LiveOps offers 5 unique agent opportunities for you to choose from: sales agent, outbound agent, bilingual agent, licensed insurance agent and roadside assistance agent. Each type of agent has their own advantages. The assessments during the application process will help you to determine which position is right for you.
The next step is to complete the experience assessments and review the basic technical requirements. LiveOps does not provide any equipment to set up your home business. Independent agents who support LiveOps clients must set up their own home office.
Don’t worry! That just means maintaining your own computer, software, telephone and telephone service.
After you have met these requirements, you’ll be asked to submit a voice audition so that LiveOps can determine your communication skills. Once this is completed, you will receive an invitation from LiveOps via e-mail. The invitation includes electronic paperwork and a link to submit background and credit checks.
LiveOps wants to ensure you are trustworthy (duh) in handling sensitive and secure information. Applicants are responsible for paying the $50 fee for the background and credit checks. Once you complete the electronic paperwork and pass the checks, you will receive an agent account.
Voila! Now you are ready to begin basic certification and training for your new home business.
LiveOps’ clients offer a variety of work contracts that they call “programs”. All of the programs are different, but most consist of inbound sales calls. This is where an interested caller is responding to a client’s current offer or advertisement. LiveOps programs may also offer outbound calls, customer service and sales lead generation as well.
Once you have become an agent, you are able to check online in the internal “Opportunity Dashboard”. This is where you will find all of the different client programs and call types that are available to your new home business. Sounds pretty simple, right? It really is.
Once you have been approved for a project, you can begin to earn money immediately!
Independent agent revenue is completely dependent on performance and the volume of services provided. Income is also dependent on the type of program you are participating in. Some LiveOps programs pay a simple, standard rate. For example, 25 cents per minute of talk time (that adds up to $15 hour).
