CloudCrowd is a website that connects clients that need work done with people who want to get work done. The company is an on-demand platform where clients go to commission and receive content. It typically deals with business-related materials, called “projects”, from independent contractors, called “workers”.

Common projects include: writting articles, product descriptions, press releases, and resumes. CloudCrowd’s workers set their own hours and complete these tasks while at home (or perhaps on the beach – you decide).

Getting Started

CloudCrowd accepts applicants from all over the world. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection.

In order to register as a worker, you need to have an active Facebook account and connect to the CloudCrowd Facebook application. From there, you will receive more information about getting started.

Earning Money

When a client gives CloudCrowd a project, the company breaks it down into a smaller set of tasks that you complete. A list of available work can be found by using CloudCrowd’s Facebook application.

At CloudCrowd, you’ll find a wide range of interesting projects to choose from. Some are quick tasks that can be completed in a matter of seconds, while others require specific skills and may take a bit longer. Most of the available tasks have to do with translation, online researching, data entry, writing and editing.

You have the option to select the tasks you want to work on. Finally, a job where you don’t have to do the things you don’t want to do!

For all the projects you accept, remember to follow the instructions carefully and be sure to always check your work before submitting. CrowdCloud’s Facebook application doesn’t allow you to change anything once the task has been submitted.

Once you submit your answer for a project, it is graded by other workers so that they can review your answers and guarantee quality for the client. If they find your answer is incorrect or not up to scratch, your work will be rejected and you won’t be paid for the task.

To steer clear of rejections, be sure to choose your tasks wisely. Only select the ones you know you can do well and by the specified due date. You wouldn’t want to waste any of your time.

You will also have to maintain a credibility score on CloudCrowd. Your score shows others (and yourself) how good of a worker you are. In order to keep a high score, stick to tasks that you are well qualified for, read and follow all instructions, and do your best. Poor work will result in a low score and possible suspension from the website.

Each available task is assigned a rate of pay according to the estimated time that it would take to complete as well as the difficulty of the task. Pay can range from $0.01 to $30+ per project.

Since most projects don’t take long to complete, you might want to try a few types of work and see what you like best. Even tasks paying only $0.01 each can add up if you find you’re able to complete them quickly and accurately.
