Arise allows you to be your own boss, work from home and control your own schedule. Best of all, it puts you in complete control of your career. You’re not just an independent contractor − you’re an independent business owner. That means you can deduct expenses on your taxes for items such as a home office, Internet connection, telephone and certification fees.

Plus, every day is casual Friday. If you’ve got the entrepreneurial bug, Arise is the perfect place to start. On top of all this, Arise allows you to provide services to some of the most well known companies in the world.

Getting Started

Arise makes getting started in a complicated industry very straightforward. They have created an entirely online application and certification process for applicants. It is worth noting that you are responsible for all associated costs and must be at least 18 years old to submit an application. The start-up costs are often very reasonable and open the door for much bigger opportunities.

MORE: Getting the extra money you need is easier than you think…

First, you must become an Arise Certified Professional (ACP). All you have to do to receive this designation is complete the online application.

You may also be required to complete the Ideal Match Assessment for computer proficiency, business judgment, data entry, voice proficiency and business acumen. These are just fancy terms used to clarify that you have a good business sense and know your way around a spreadsheet.

The Ideal Match Assessment demonstrates your skills and helps Arise refer you to the most appropriate clients. After this, you will be asked to complete a national criminal background check (costs around $13-26). Before letting you work with their clients, Arise wants to make sure you don’t have any skeletons in the closet.

Lastly, you must enroll in the Arise basic e-certification program, which is referred to as ACP101 ($99). You will have 7 calendar days to complete the program.

Arise will not contract directly with any individual. The company will only contract with incorporated entities. This means that you will need to establish a Virtual Services Corporation (VSC). A VSC is an incorporated entity that you own! Congratulations, Mr. or Mrs. CEO.
